Pours a ruby amber with a half inch of white head. Leaves a little lacing down the glass.
Smells like plums, dates, alcohol, citrus, bourbon, oak, caramel, and toffee.
Taste follows smell- opens with the fruits and moves into a bourbon, vanilla, caramel flavor. Finishes with a little oaked dryness. A really well integrated bourbon oak stave beer.
Mouthfeel is full, but not enough residual sugars to be a great mouthfeel.
Overall, Kyle knocked it out of the park. Very good guy to talk to as I sipped on this.
