Pours a super rich black color with a thick brown head, lacing is quite good. Lots of roasted pumpkin on the nose along with some chocolate, charcoal and coffee.

Nice toasted malt character with with big pumpkin and cinnamon spice taste. Finishes very clean with a subtle hop presence that whisps away any perceived sweetness. The brewery actually says its an irish dry style stout and it fits better in that category than american stout in my opinion as well.

Mmmm a few more sips and im getting a pie like flavor as well. I've been looking forward to trying a beer from this place for sometime now and I must say im delightfully surprised.

Not bad.

This beer poured out as a any stout should, black. The head was creamy looking and light brown in color. The smell of the beer has a good amount of spice on the nose. The taste is spicy and semi sweet up front, there is some pumpkin and cocoa flavors also and then some autumn spices in there too. The mouthfeel of this beer is smooth and creamy. Overall this is a pretty good brew. It really left a good impression on me.
