Clear yellow in color with no head at all. No carbonation, making this look like apple juice. The aroma was non-existant. The taste was of light malt and a touch of bitterness and some grassy tones. Clearly this is brewed for the macro drinkers tastes.
The mouthfeel was thin and had a clean aftertaste. Also smooth in texture which is not what you expect with a brew in this style. Drinkability category has the highest score, but not because of flavor, just lightness of the brew.

Served as part of their half moon sampler tray at their brewpub. This poured a very pale yellow color and was topped off with a thin white head. Sublime clarity and decent carbonation. The aroma is sweet and crisp with pilsener malts and has a pleasant graininess about it. The taste is nice and smooth with a soft hop bite to compliment the delicate body of sweet malt. Soft bitterness transfers into the finish. A very enjoyable beer on the whole.

I was a little worried that this would be the typical "light lager" you can find at just about every brewpub ever created. In a sense it is but it at least tries to expand on that a little. Light golden color with a dense and bubbly white head. No real lacing. The aroma is lightly sweet malt and a pinch of Saaz. The body is light, even for a Helles, and the flavor is a mixture of toasted malt and caramel. The finish is a little sweet and not too interesting.

Modeled after a Munich helles lager, the Crazy Girl is a regular at Harvest Moon. It's clear gold body is topped by a thin, bright-white head that drops but keeps a thin creamy collar. The nose expresses a firm, grainy maltiness and some light spicy/floral hops. The body is medium/light with a crisp carbonation. The flavor fulfills the expectations set forth by the aroma with a grainy malt that's well backed by a decent amount of bitterness to balance and some nice spicy hop flavor. Refreshingly more than just standard "brewpub gold"! It finishes dry with some lingering hop flavor. Very nice.
