This beer was served by Harvest Moon Brewery and Cafe in a pint glass. Perfect temperature for an IPA. Properly carbonated.
A: a deep orange, almost amberish color. Not much head or lacing.
S: much pine. Simcoe really comes through.
T: more pine, some citrus. The high alcohol content isn't masked well.
M: a heavy feel, typical for a DIPA
O: 3.5 - still the best choice on the menu and a delicious beer, but there are many better DIPA's out there. Too much alcohol on the palate.
