On tap at The Brook Tap House in West Caldwell. Pours a jet black ebony hue with minimal frothing. Mild aroma replete with notes of bitter dark chocolate and anise. Good stuff but too bitter for my liking as far as drinkability is concerned.

9/21/21...pours black, heavy foam stout full settlement finish. Traditional roasted oat nose. Modest. Smooth creamy mellow flavor. Slight gritty bitter hints the roof of the mouth. Some semi sweet chocolate. Pretty good.
