There are three different recognized styles of Bitter Ale: Ordinary Bitter, Best Bitter & Extra Special Bitter (ESB). The only noticeable difference in these styles is the level of Hop presence. Buckin' Bitter is an Ordinary Style bitter. Brewed with crystal and caramel malted barley this beer features moderate sweetness and a noticeable hop character. Slightly bitter with a bit of floral hop aroma this is a good introduction to the more robust English ale styles we brew.

Enjoyed at the Lander Brew Fest, June 12, 2010.
About a 10oz serving.
Nice brownish red colour, small head of foam but darn good lacing.
The smell had some fruity aromas, slight lemon citrus, light malt-sweet and some bread.
The taste continued the fruity theme and was lightly malty, good citrus hoppiness but not over done, and had a general balanced feel though leaning towards the hops. A good taster.
Light bodied with medium carbonation, it started off nice and smooth but it finished thin and sort of watery.
Drinkability? A very easy drinking Bitter, my glass was empty pretty damned quick! Good stuff.
