I had 3 pints of this at the local Old Chicago.
It pours a near pitch blacck with a small head of foam tannish in colour.
The smell is of roasted malt and some bitterness that reminds me of dark chocolate.
The taste brings roasted malt, dark chocolate bitterness, a light touch of some smoke, which I enjoyed, and about mid palate some malt sweetness that was ok but could have been skipped.
Near medium bodied with medium carbonation. Decent mouthfeel.
Drinkability? An easy 5.0%abv quaffer, I ordered and had 3 pints in a relatively short period of time and *could* have had a 4th but I had some other things I needed to attend to. A nice find in Casper.
