draft at the brewpub after some backpacking in the Winds...
a: deep pecan wood brown in color, topped with a full, dark khaki head that shows good retention
s: loads of toasty nuts on a full, highly aromatic brown malt nose, a nice balanced sugar presence, moderate earthy hop aromas
m: carbonated to low-moderate levels, body medium with a nice weight but kept easy drinking
t: the dominant flavors are toasty, nutty brown malts with some scant underlying malt sugars, nutshell, nicely dry and easy drinking, earthy hop flavors with a balanced bitterness
o: think they did a great job with this one - nailing all the toasty, nutty brown malt character while keeping everything balanced and easy to enjoy, very nice
