From a Howler purchased at Liquor Shed for $5.

The pour reveals a very dark brown brew with over a finger of foam that hangs in there..nice head retention. Speaking of nice, there is plenty of sticky lacing.

The nose had aromas of roasted, almost burnt malt with a nice accompanying smell of chocolate, mostly of the dark bitter kind.

It tastes as good as it smells. Big roasted malt with a dark chocolate bitterness that gives it that dry character that is almost like what you get with a Foreign/Export Stout.

A lovely smooth mouthfeel rounds out this very well crafted American Porter. If you dig well made beers of the style, you'd probably enjoy this but it's not packaged other than in kegs.
