I bought this Growler at Liquor Shed.
It pours black with a small tan head of foam that leaves some sticky lacing behind.
I get dark chocolate, a bit of coffee, and some sweet notes of perhaps milk chocolate. Yes, I'm sure now.
Up front, the taste I get is that dark chocolate bitterness that gives way to some light coffee notes, lightish roasted malt, and finishes with a semi sweet chocolate kick that rounds this Milk Stout out VERY nicely.
A bit more carbonation could help the otherwise good mouthfeel.
Further into the session and the bitter chocolate starts to shine all over again. This is really nice and quite drinkable. I can easily recommend trying it if you happen to see it around.
