Wheat malt gives this brew a toasted, tangy crispness, while a special yeast imparts fruitiness and spiciness. Served unfiltered with a lemon or orange slice.

Tap pour at Wyoming Ale Works. Served chilled in a nonic glass.
Unfiltered deep gold colored body. Thin white head. Leaves behind torn lacing webs.
Aroma of tangy wheat malt and yeast banana and cloves.
Taste is sweet with a tangy note. Flavors of wheat malt, banana and cloves. Aftertaste continues with all flavors.
A little more than medium mouthfeel. Coats the mouth but a clean finish. Good carbonation.
Fits for style, medium in expression.

On tap. Poured a cloudy, pale golden color with a bubbly white head. It smelled yeasty with coriander and cracked wheat. Good wheat flavor with banana and clove.

Enjoyed on-tap @ The Trap Bar & Grill in Alta, WY for $5. Tapped from the White, Lander Tap Handle into a 16oz Pint Glass.

Aroma- Very wheaty and sharp crispness hits the nose all at once. "White ale" like and finishes without hops or overpowering attribute of any kind.

Appearance- Received with a less than .5 finger head and dies slowly. Has a cloudy, medium orange colored body with heavy haziness. Leaves good lacing behind.

Flavor- A very mellow brew... Light citrus and average grainy/wheat flavors. No bitterness afterwards.

Mouthfeel- Light-Medium Bodied, Medium-High Carbonation, Creamy, Smooth, and has nice wheat finish on the palate with citrus.

Overall Impression- Very refreshing but wish there was more ingredient and body to this one. Not knowing the ABV's, it seemed very light and all around, average for a Hefe. I would recommend this but have NEVER seen anything from Lander in my life. Try to find if you can!

A hazy lemon yellow in color with a thin white head. Smells a tiny bit of lemon. Taste is light cracker flavor up front followed by the banana and clove imparted from the yeast. Finish is rather lifeless. Very light mouthfeel. Overall a pretty good beer, though really a bit too light for a Hefeweizen IMO.

Had at the Lander Bar.

It poured the palest of straw yellow, cloudy, about an inch of foam.

The smell was spicy and fruity..lots of clove and bananas, other spices like coriander. Smells like the style intended.

The taste reflects the smell pretty well but doesn't quite live up to it. Sure, the clove(maybe overdone a tad) and banana are strong as is the coriander but about mid palate on, things go a bit watery.

Light bodied and medium carbonation, it, like I said with the taste, ended up on the watery side and I didn't feel inclined to have another pint.
