A strong and robust stout, smooth and well balanced. Rich with the flavors of coffee and dark chocolate, this is a full-bodied brew with a palette-cleansing bitter finish.

I enjoyed a pint at The Lander Bar..they gave it the name of Down & Out Stout.
A true pitch black pour, it had a 1/2" of tan foam with plenty of lacing. A great looking Stout.
The smell was roasty, had some dark chocolate bitterness, and a light touch of coffee. A good and spot on nose for the style.
The taste did not disappoint. Roasted malt and dark chocolate dominated with some coffee notes peaking in and out. This is a full flavoured Stout and it had the dryness needed for the style and that pleased me greatly. A delicious brew!
A nice thickish body with medium carbonation kept things going in the right direction.
Drinkability? If you love the style, you'll find, like I did, that this is very drinkable. A super good offering from Lander Brewing!
