It pours a pitch black with a small but fairly long lasting head of tannish foam. The smell is of citrus hops(grapefruit), roasted malt, and a bit of grain. The taste is roasted malt up front soon taken over by bitter hoppiness of grapefruit and pine. Long lasting bitter flavour in the finish. Nice medium mouthfeel that’s an easy drinker for a pint or 2. This is a nice addition to the brewer’s stable of beers.
