$5 for the Howler at Liquor Shed.

It pours a bright and clear corn yellow with about an inch of foam. I see some pretty good lacing.

It smells hoppy with a touch of grain and some spice.

The hops are bitter and nice but it's balanced by a flavourful malty presence...not big on the grain but there. Up front, I don't get any heat from the chiles but on the back end, a tender amount of heat. Too much heat and I reckon that would defeat the purpose of the true Session beer.

Light bodied, light on the carbo, a bit watery in the finish...what I expected.

Overall. I'm a fan of Pasilla. It's nice to see Ty experimenting at WSB.
