On draught at the Wonder Bar. 2nd collaboration between Wyoming State and Luminous.
Big foam monster with the pour, my glass arrived with 1 finger head sitting on a bit of a straw coloured beer but just a wee bit darker.
The smell is a nice mix of Belgian spice and citrus.
The taste takes the smell and moves it up a notch. First off, despite the trouble with the foaming earlier, the carbonation is actually on the soft side.
What do I get taste wise? Gentle spice from the Belgian yeast. Again, cloves are present but not overpowering. A bit or more like a hint of pepper.
Throw in some mild citrus to add a lowish level of bitterness. Not too much else the delicate Belgian aspects of the beer would be drowned out. ;^)
I already covered the mouthfeel.
Nice. Nice collaboration!
