Pours an almost pitch black; just some reddish highlights show. Small tan head of foam with good lacing.
Roasted malt, chocolate, bitter sweet aromatics abound. Some of the ample alcohol peeks through.
Very roasty, bitter from the dark chocolate and hints of coffee. Very dry overall with minimal intrusion of the alcohol.
Medium mouthfeel with light carbonation.
Excellent Imperial Stout.
