Dicks poured a dark amber color with no freshness date on the bottle. It had very little foam head. The smell malty with not much aroma to it. The taste seemed unbalanced overwhelming malty taste with not much hops. The mouthfeel was pretty much non-existent. Overall Harvest ales seem to have a fresh hop appeal to them and in this beer I didn't taste any hops.

Somewhat dissapointed, dick's makes quality beers, this was not one of them. Pours a amber red with a head that just doesn't quite materialize. The smell is of yeast and heavy butter toast, a thick caramel is present but just seems a bit odd, the taste has the caramel sweetness but almost seemed watered down, a toasty grain was present, a floral hop was subtle but detectable. Medium bodied, won't try again.

This beer is an Oktoberfest/Marzen style beer but fermented with ale yeast. Kudos to Dick's for not trying to pass off an ale as an actual Oktoberfest as many microbreweries do.

This beer pours a nice amber color with a tight white head. Very minimal smell but a slight hint of yeast esters. It's a very slight hint but definatly the same esters that are in most of Dick's beers. Malty grainy carmel taste with hops in the background--balanced towards the malt. Slight ester taste in beer but not as much as in most of Dick's beers. Creamy mouthfeel and highly drinkable.
