Poured from a 500ml bottle. 3.4% session bitter rebranding.
Pours a clear darkish straw, finger of foam atop that leaves scant lacing. The aroma hits on the pour, bready malt, toffee, a hint of hops. The malt leads the charge on the taste as expected, mild but fully there , bready caramel notes abound and there's a light sweetness and an even lighter bitterness going on. Mouth feel is decent, especially for the abv . Overall pretty good, very drinkable. Very light , nothing dominating, rather refreshing and a comfortable abv that suits bitter . A good bitter that's happy to be just what it is.

Bottle. Now re-named Session Bitter at 3.4% ABV. Clear amber with a thick foamy head.
A mild malt inclined aroma. Distant hops just about discerned.
A grainy flavour with a touch of toffee. Moderate bitter completion.
Medium carbonation and body.
Middle of the road bitter. Nothing wrong with that in these days of foreign fruity hop concoctions. Could be drunk all day.

500ml bottle.
L: Clear, glossy, dark amber with a thin head that reduces to a smear.
S: Slight hint of malt. Nothing unpleasant.
T: Stewed tea & ashes. Extremely bitter. Leafy hops totally dominate the malt base.
F: Medium body, bone dry.
O: None of the fruit, toffee or floral characteristics promised on the label. This is over-hopped and burnt.

Great name.
Orange clear Amber body and small head. Some lace. Minimal retention.
Huge whisky like malt in the nose. Diacetyl hints. Orange rind and toasted muesli.
Sweetish and thin malt up front. A good smack of bittering hops drys it out quickly. Very dry. More diacetyl. Maybe 2 days old. Not bad. A decent drinking bitter.
Thin and a touch astringent. Quite drinkable. An average and pleasantly drinkable example of the style.

This was served to me fresh from the cask in a traditional pint glass. The color is a very clear brown, almost like tea. The aroma is sweet but not overpowering - almost too light. The taste is smooth and clean but nothing in particular stands out. It has a slight bitter hop aftertaste but is more light and doesn't particularly linger. You could probably drink this all day - it is refreshing but does not stand out. Overall, it is a pretty decent beer (much better than a macrobrew) and real ales are always pretty great, but I wouldn't really go out of my way except to add another entry to the beer journal.
