L- Crystal clear, little patches of foam but no cover and minimal rising CO2, clears completely within a few minutes/no lacing.
S- Something rather woody.
T- It's taste is^ woody or dry/herby (non-aromatic). At this point I haven't read the lable for clues.
F- It has a body and some richness, the prettily decorated can suggested it might be a hipster hop-hammer but it isn't. The balance between richness and hopping is pretty good.
O- The elephant in the room is quite what the woody/timber note is; is it barrel-matured? It's prominent enough to be the overall focus. This beer doesn't really come together for me.
440ml can. BB: 08/2020. Bought from Waitrose/London, £1.65 on a special offer, first time this week I've seen it stocked there.
p.s. Now reading the can, the only clues to^ is in the description that it's 'Earthy and herbal'.
