250ml bottle - how on Earth is this a 'strong' lager of any sort of stripe?

This beer pours a clear, medium golden yellow colour, with three fingers of puffy, finely foamy, and mildly bubbly bone-white head, which leaves some melting snow rime lace around the glass as it quickly blinks out of existence.

It smells of gritty and grainy cereal malt, a twinge of plastic acridity, a bit of biscuity crackers, and some plain earthy, musty, and dead floral green hop bitters. The taste is bready and doughy pale malt, some indistinct pome fruitiness, a bit of toasted crackers, ethereal earthy yeast, and some further musty, leafy, and musky floral hoppiness.

The carbonation is fairly laid-back in its insouciant-seeming frothiness, the body a decent middleweight, and generally smooth, nothing really getting in the way of a good time at this particular juncture. It finishes off-dry, the basic bitch cereal malt pretty much holding court in its lingering state.

Overall - this is actually one of the better offerings that I have come across from this Estonian brewing outfit. I dunno why they have chosen to package it in such a small vessel, as the extra 0.2% ABV excuse seems so, well, un-European. At any rate, pleasant enough, but even at the inexpensive shelf tag, not really worth it.
