The colour is brown (60 EBC), the liquid is clear. The two finger head is off-white and compact. It sinks slowly leaving some lacing on the glass.

The smell is malty with semi-roasted notes. Spicy hops, some malt sourness. Quite strong bitterness for the style. Hints of apricots and plums.

The taste is malty and quite “brown” with hints of chocolate and slight sweetness. Dried fruits and flowers. Light to medium body. The aftertaste is fresh with clean bitter notes, dark bread and smooth floral hops. The finish is smooth with some caramel.

The carbonation is medium strong. The many bubbles are long-lived. The liquid is mid-smooth and on the lighter side.

A solid Vienna lager, very clean and fresh.

A-Very Dark reddish amber to copper color. Bright clarity. Large, tan persistent head.

S-A light toasted malt aroma

T- Crisp and sweet malt up front with lots of toasted malt for complexity. A bit bitter, maybe too much for a Vienna

M-Medium bodied with medium carbonation

O-smooth and easy drinking with more flavor than 4.7% would lead you to believe. Drinks like a dopplebock in a pint sized offering. Highly recommend, although the color isn't strictly to style.

Poured with a light tan small head that quickly dissipated and no lace. Color was mahoganey. Aroma was nice: malty, licorice, and a hint of cinnamon. Flavor wasn't nearly as good as the aroma. Similar, but much less intense. Body is on the thin side. Finish is so short as to be not there. Forgettable. A session beer if you want to forget what you're drinking.

500 ml bottle from Tallinn

Pours coppery brown with large and rather fizzy tan head that soon fades to thin layer. Weak patchy lacing. Aroma is rich German malt, hints of toasted.

Taste is malt with coffee-like bitterness; it is quite good balanced, but I have the feeling the bitterness dominates, also weak hints of caramel present. Dryish finish, malty and bittery aftertaste. Mouthfeel is creamy light-medium with average carbonation and light alcohol warming.

Quite pleasant beer and very refreshing. Maybe there was too much bitterness for a typical Vienna, but I liked it.
