Last fall, Sep 2001, I took a side trip from Bamberg to Oberhaid. I quaffed this brew at the Wagner Brau pub, where I don't think they had seen an American in years!! Dark brown color, clear, with a lasting, big, rocky head. The nose was malty, but not pronounced enough. Quite smooth, albeit on the thin side. Nice flavors; mild sweetness balanced by some hop-imparted fruitiness at the finish. Not bad...
