Poured into a Dogfish Head pint glass. Pours a hazy caramel amber with a thin white head that dissipates immediately leaving no trace. Aroma of bready malt and toffee. Flavor is tart neutral malt and citrus, finishing starkly with residual hop bitterness with little herbal flavor. Light bodied. Umm, not sure about this. The lack of head and tartness indicate either this was brewed as a sour, or this is a bad bottle, although it just arrived at the store. Because of my uncertainty, I checked the web for another review and at least one mentioned sourness and that was a draft, so this may be intentional. The bottle describes this as "A Dry Hopped Summer Ale". I like this brewery's malty ales, but this is a miss for me.
