Poured into a Dogfish Head pint glass. Pours a ruddy, almost cola colored amber with a nice two finger light tan head with good retention and lacing. Inviting aroma of sweet caramel malt with hist of toastiness, light toffee. Flavor follows with mellow, lightly toasted caramel malt, grassy hops, nuts. Finishes with pleasant nuts and lingering grassy hops bitterness. Medium bodied with light creaminess. This is a very nice, malty brown ale. Well integrated. It might be the hot day after mowing the lawn talking, but this is tasting most excellently.
