Poured into a Seattle Beer Week pint glass. Pours medium coppery amber with only patchy white foam and a ring around the glass, meh. Mild aroma of raspberries and a hint of malt. Flavor follows, mild, slightly tart raspberries and possibly the most neutral malt I've ever tasted. You could tell from the body and texture that there was malt, but it had virtually no flavor (it did not taste diluted, just flavorless). Finishes with a mild tartness and more mild raspberry. Odd. Medium bodied. A very hard to review ale. There are no off flavors, and there is a moderate feel of malt (and this brewery is very much to my taste in malt forward beers), but strangely flavorless. The faint raspberry was nice, but very muted. Worth a try if you want a faintly raspberry ale that is fairly neutral in all aspects. Must have been a fairly subdued Anniversary.

A: Poured a ruddy orange color, flat, no head, nada.
S: Snooze. Very faint butterscotch...and not in a good way...
T: Initial green apple sourness meets a old worn band aid, a funky sour presence lingers, some smoke is detected which is the only decent part of this beer
M: Thin, flat, uninspiring with a motherload of diacetyl
O: Drain pour
