Looks like a brownish cherry cola, bubbles are not really anywhere to be found. The smell is cheeries, oak, twizzlers! About these same with taste except a little bitterness in there. Light feel again with bitterness in the back end! Overall, it's okay, not a drain pour and not a beer to seek out either. My bottle was red waxed with 2011 on it!

This is the worst attempt a kriek I have ever had and should have been dumped by the brewery when they tried it. Upon opening all you get is the aroma of artificial cherry. taste follows suit and can only be described as cherry cough syrup and fruit punch 4-loko. Mouthfeel doesn't really matter because I just tried to get it out of my mouth as quickly as I could.
Overall this is a complete failure and should have never left the brewery. I will never buy another bottle of anything brewed by Oceanside. I am highly skeptical of any of the reviewers below that have given this beer a rating higher than a 2.

750 mL bottle poured into a wine glass. Deep red and hazy. Almost no head. Smell is very strange. Does not smell like cherry. Artificial aroma of fruit punch and some chemical solvency. Taste is equally unpleasant. Lightly tart. Oak. Same fruit punch flavor that someone said was like Hawaiian Punch. It's been a while since I've had that, but I think it's an apt descriptor. Low carbonation. Medium body. Not a pleasant beer.

Huge cherry sweet bing rich cherry flavor exceelmt carbonation fizzy brings out cherrys in huge way awesome.
