Sampled 5/28/2011 at the new brewery. Turned out to be their 5th anniversary party.
Pours brown with some red showing, slight haze, beige head, decent lacing, not much retention.
Aroma is sweet, malty, a touch nutty, and a little boozy.
Flavor is malt, caramel, maybe a hint of butter and roast, and medium bitterness. Surprisingly not too roasted.
Body is medium/heavy, drinkable, not bad.
