It's a red. But wait, there's more! Sensationally nice appearance with a creamy, long-lasting head. Coppery color in the pint glass. The mouthfilling frothiness of it goes on and on. Flavors include a malty touch of caramel. A little richer than average for this style, but it's still crisp and pleasantly watery. A sharp touch along with a modest brambly hop flavor. Not particularly bitter, even in the aftertaste.
Thoroughly drinkable unassuming beer. On tap for SD beer week at Leroy's Kitchen + Lounge in Coronado.
