Bottle@home,
A: Verk dark brown/black with a light, huge, head that vanishes a bit too quickly for my liking.
S: Roasted malt, Chocolate, Caramel.
T: Chocolate, Smoke, Roasted Malts, Bitter Coffee.
M: Very balanced and mild with plenty of carbonation. Liquid feels a bit thin.
A very genuine and drinkable Dunkles from Ålands Bryggeri. Could use a bit more body but all in all a nice beer.

Thanks to cigar city brew
A: Pours a nice dark brown hue with no head. No lace either, looks like a flat brew in the glass.
S: Huge sweet caramel aroma with hints of roasted malt and nuts.
T: Very much the same as the taste, but the sweetness was bigger than I thought it could be. Lots of gooey caramel, hints of hazelnut, and a touch of smoke.
M: A little thin, with very low carbonation.
D: Not bad, but the sweetness would really creep up on you over time.

The liquid is opaque; the colour is black with a brown tint. The small foam is brown.
The smell is roasted, almost burned. There are some notes of butter, wet leather and a touch of alcohol.
The taste is malty with smoked/roasted flavours. It is more dry than bitter. The aftertaste got a buttery coffee-flavour with a growing bitterness.
The mouthfeel is dry with a light carbonation and large bubbles.
A good dunkles with an interesting smoked touch.
