This is an amazing example of a great German Export style beer. It's a lighter beer, will plenty of drink-ability, but a nice snap of bitterness at the end. Served in a perfectly cooled steinkrug, this beer is only available on-site and is well worth the pilgrimage.

First off, despite the "pils" in the name, this bier is an export according to Forschungs menu...
Had me a 1/2 litre of this at Forschungs with lunch recently. Clear, medium-golden colored, with a short, white head. OK lacing sticks in the stein. Medium-bodied, and a solid, smooth medium on the tongue! Mild aroma suggests some floral hops and a touch of spicy bite. Mild, light-crackery malt is soon overcome by a pleasant floral hop flavor, which lingers well on the palate. It's a very smooth hoppiness, with minimal bitterness. Nice brew.
Prosit!!
