Brauerei Greifenklau "Weizen"
2,30€ / ,3L glass on tap at the brewery on 16 September 2017
Notes: Very hazy but not quite cloudy., Golden -orange in color beneath a full head of white foam. Good head retention and lacing. Aroma of Bavarian weizen yeast with clove nad other phenols over a sweetish wheat malt base. The taste delivers that sweetish and wheaty malt with lots of apple atop the clove and bubblegum notes from the yeast. A low level bitternes balances it and it finishes sweetish and lingering with malt and bubblegum. Medium bodied and crisp. An average weizen.

From the bottle, it pours a hazy light amber with a nice fluffy head. Bread and yeast in the nose. Classic wheat bier flavor on the tongue. Enjoyable! Great brewery!
