From the half liter bottle, it pours a hazy brown color with a very large, long lasting, light tan/off-white head. The nose revels in the strong scents of banana, clove and bread. The mouth gets the same, with a touch of alcohol evident. Mouthfeel is medium, with carbonation still a bit evident as you drink it.

Fantastic Weizenbock with a cleaner-than-usual finish. Some Weizenbocks tend to be very sweet, but this has the right amount of Hops to balance everything.

Pours a cloudy nut brown color with a huge, stable eggshell head.

Smell is beautiful - bakers chocolate, melting caramel and dried, sugared plums among whole grain bread. Some raisins mingle into rock sugars with a warming alcohol undertone.

Has a well nuanced medium carbonation with a fuller, sweet and malty body, balanced and clean.

Tastes of dusty, stale chocolate with sweet toffee and peppery yeast among a soothing aqueous quality with a mineralic touch. Brings sugared plums to the palate, unfolding among the spicy yeast, creating a nice counterpart to an aqueous softness. Finishes sweet with a watery undertone, a little warming with lots of dried fruits and a very light bitterness from old hops.

Drinks almost like a belgium strong ale with lots of spices and dried, sweet fruits, while finishing a little lighter and softer, clean as you would expect it from a Bock.
