16oz nitro draft pour in a hybrid glass - $5.50
Style has been updated to be served on nitro and it brings out all the best parts.
Pours a pale/dull gold with a pretty standard nitro head, but pretty bright white
Aroma of honey, floral notes and slightly toasty.
Sweet, slightly buttery biscuit, lavender and extra smooth.
Solid medium body that is extra soft.
Probably my favorite offering from Squatters

Bottle to becher pint glass.
The appearance was a chill hazed amber color. Modest little head quickly slid off to leave barely any lace.
The aroma had some gentle lavender qualities, light honey and some lighter herbal/grassy sweetness.
The flavor moderately leaned into the sweetness meshing all of the prior mentioned aromas. Lavender to honey aftertaste.
The mouthfeel was between light and medium bodied with a mostly sessionable quality about it. Carbonation felt good. ABV felt appropriate. Semi-smooth dry and slightly lavender sort of finish.
Overall, pretty nice easy drinker with some dryness that actually made me slow down on it.

12oz bottle in Idaho.
Pours with a clear amber body ands a large durables head.
Smells like there's too much lavender but they taste is excellent ... and I'm not even a fan of lavender.
Superb mouthfeel, with soft but very lively carbonation.

From notes taken 02/28/17:
I must admit I am enjoying this well past its expiration date (“expired” late 2015). Took a chance since the style generally isn’t very hoppy and it really is hops that ruin an old beer more than anything else, despite one of their lauded purposes being to keep beer fresh.
Peachy orange amber, mostly clear at first but even in the bottle I can see sediment that will make it cloudy by the final pour. Right, it is just a little cloudier but the main things are an abundance of medium-sized, tannish, spongey fleks in suspension and a change toward a lovely, luminous orange-honey color. Smaller, off-white, somewhat watery head with lower-moderate retention. Amazing smell, was expecting something very generic. Plenty of honey, both from honey and from the malt, but also bread crumbs and light perfume/floral/herbal suggestions obviously from the lavender, and quite reminiscent of lemongrass, all positly partially influenced by a small hopping, if any. Taste is much similar, with wonderful lingering herbal finish, though overall the palate is slightly more lemony-tart and less bready (though still a dose of it in the aftertaste) and the honey takes more of a backseat to lavender and lemongrass. Medium-bodied. Seems a little spritzy but also not far from a Nitro it its creaminess. This beer is amazing, love it!

APPEARANCE: Slightly hazy golden ale with a finger of very creamy white head that settles to a thick marshmallow looking layer.Nice bit of lacing. The carbonation is full and rising fast.
AROMA: Sweet. Honey and lavender, they weren't kidding. Smells very malty, and a touch of grain.
TASTE: The lavender really does cut through, honey is there too more in the back. Quite sweet, a litle grain on the finish.
FEEL: Very smooth and soft. Average carbonation on the tongue, medium body.
OVERALL: Something a little unique. I wouldn't go out of my way for it, but a nice change of pace.

Pours clear amber. Mild floral and honey aroma. The lavender really comes through in the taste along with floral sweetness, crackery malt, and fresh bread. Was much better than expected, a delightful little beer.

Bumper Crop pours a golden color with a long lasting lacing head. Big lavender aroma, smells like laundry detergent. Flavor is light and crisp, with some honey flavors, but big lavender flavors. Good body and feel. Overall, its not bad, a little too much lavender and not enough honey.

Pours a nice honey amber color with distinct light hazing, and a 2 finger head that gradually recedes to a creamy pond moss on top. 60% opaque.
Not much to the aroma except for some honey baked grains, a bit of malt.
The flavor is thankfully stronger with a rich baked bread flavor, some floral notes (decidedly lavender), cereal, and malt. Little hop to be tasted, but that's okay. This is a super refreshing ale and yes, absolutely, it reminds me of summer time.
The feel is carbonated, refreshing, creamy, light, airy...it's all good.
Overall, this is such a great summer ale. I'd buy it in sixers for hot weather. Very nice beer!

Straight "4.25" for me across the board! Sampling right now on the last day of August on a warm summer day. Comes in a 12 ounce bottle. Best Buy: 08/08/15 on near bottom of bottle. Bottle chilled down to 36 degrees F in my beer cooler and poured in to a "SAMUEL ADAMS SUMMER ALE" pilsner glass.
Brew pours a hazy apricot in color with around a 1-finger creamy/foamy white head. Spotty 'sheet-like' lacing is seen when sipped. Aroma is of grains with a hint of lavender and honey. Pretty much goes for the taste as well with a perfect balance of honey (and lavender) that isn't too sweet. Goes down easy with no harsh or bitter aftertaste. Lighter-bodied with perfect carbonation. Overall a great summer brew!
