Wasatch Provo Girl has a thick, white, creamy head, a hazy, yellow-gold appearance, lots of tan sediment chunks, streaming bubbles, and heavy lacing left on the sides of the glass. The aroma is of lemony and pungent barley, some grass, hay, and bread. Taste is of all that, with sweetness. Bitterness is low. Mouthfeel is high medium, but not gritty, and Wasatch Provo Girl finishes crisp and mild.

Good bite. Great limpid golden color. Dry, grains-on-the-barnfloor nose, with a hint of dry sugars, but which I wish gave a bit readily of its bouquet. Lots of initial effervescence, but that liquid excitement doesn't fully reach the palate, with a lot washing out in rings of sticky lacing; still, the carbonation is decent and contributes to the malt-crispness that is the primary feature of this pilsener. Its secondary strength—a surprisingly rough, leafy hop bitterness—likewise ultimately informs that overriding crispness, wiping out the muted sugars and producing a biting, herbal-bitter linger. And yet, while Provo is an altogether solidly-executed pilsner, there's a bit too much imbalance and residual sugar in the textures for it to really shine.

Nice, clear, straw-golden beer. Medium retention head with good lacing. Smells sweet, grassy, grainy, and lemony. Similar on the taste, but pasta instead of grains, and less sweet and with a light rind finish. On the fuller side of light-bodied. Relatively low carbonation. Excellent smoothness.
