Poured from a 12 ounce bottle into a Shaker pint glass, "best by" date 3-4-16.
APPEARANCE: dark brown color with less than one-finger tan head that slowly dissipated until a thin, broken layer of small bubbles remained, there is moderate lacing on the glass, medium carbonation.
SMELL: toffee and toasted bread.
TASTE: initially sweet toffee and bread, there is very little hop presence at all.
PALATE: medium carbonation but somewhat watery.
OVERALL: I like this brewer but this beer is not to my liking, it's malt forward to a fault, I'm not a fan of toffee or toasted bread so I would not seek this one out again.

Brought back from Utah by a friend. Really good amber beer. I don't like to label beers as having a "floral" smell, but the aroma was fresh and crisp. Out of all the Utah beers I have had tonight, this is one of the best so far.

Beautiful color and smell. Very malty flavor. Reminds me of fat tire and I honestly don't know if I could tell the difference side by side but tats just me.
