Bobsled Nut Brown Ale has a thin-to-medium, beige head, a fair amount of lacing splotches left on the glass, a very clear, red-brown appearance (although, the website says it’s unfiltered), and a few bubbles ascending. The aroma and flavor are muted, but you will pick up some sweet, candy-like toffee in the aroma, and mild, roasted, semi-sweet bread crust and low-level bitterness in the flavor. Mouthfeel is light and watery, and Bobsled Nut Brown Ale finishes crisp and plain. No off aromas or flavors, though.

A good to above average brown ale. Because this is from Utah, the alcohol content is lower, which I believe has caused the beer to taste somewhat watered down. Not bad, but probably would be better if brewed in another state.

Pours a nutty chestnut color with a rapidly diminishing head. Opacity is 60% and at it's strongest the head was 1 finger.
Aroma is of roasted nuts. A little caramel malt.
Taste is nutty, focused on peanuts, acorn, walnut, chestnut. Toffee follows gently and the finish is roasted nut and bitter coffee-blonde ale notes.
Feel is underwhelming like most brown ales, but within spec. Light bodied, easy and slightly bothersome carbonation, wet finish with no parch.
Overall, it's underwhelming...but the nuts are an enjoyable focus. A great brown if you like nuts in your ale.

If it looks good, smells good and feels good then it must taste good. I purchased one of this beer in a build your own six pack and enjoyed it enough that I bought a case of it the next time I was at the store

Clear brown colored beer with a small tan colored head.
Smells of molasses, patent malt and coffee. Curious strong tea scent to this one.
Starts out neutral flavored with a long coffee after taste. Fair chocolate and caramel flavors.
Mouthfeel is light.
Overall it is just OK.
