as the 4% beers go, this one does a nice job. its a filtered hefe type, quite flavorful on the yeast, floral but also banana and clovey, very predictable in a way, but much better than expectations and a six pack we had absolutely no problem ploughing through. so light in the glass, almost looks watered down, and while its not perfectly clear, its a lot more bright than a lot of hefe types, and its white head hangs around a little bit, nice carbonation here. the aroma is good from the yeast, but there is some wheat malt too thats there, white and pale and easy, but its grainy, which is more than i can say for a lot of the utah beers in this range. the flavor of the wheat is subtle but present as well, and with the dry finish, slightly floral citrus spring nature of it, and the excited carbonation, its a real refresher and slammer. there is a bit of a strange metallic aftertaste, almost an artificial flavor or something, and it doesnt warm up real well because that gets exacerbated and the bubbles go away, but i thought this was pretty easy going stuff, and it works this time of year. better than anticipated!

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
