The beautiful citrus and tropical fruit aromas of this beer are a result of the commingling of international hops. It's the perfect session IPA all year long!

The last session IPA was pretty good, fingers crossed this is too. Poured into a Wasatch pint glass at 37 degrees. The head of the beer is a frothy, creamy, foamy, and airy. The color of the head is a bright white with good retention. The head left lacing as it slowly dissipated. The Color of the beer is around SRM 4. The clarity of the beer is hazy with carbonation bubbles visible.

Initial aroma of the beer is pine, crackers, and lightly toasted malts. Additional aromas in the beer are grass, floral, tropical fruit, grapefruit, and yeast.

The flavor of the beer is pine, grapefruit, resin, cracker, yeast, lightly toasted malt, floral and tropical.

The mouthfeel of the beer is watery with astringency. The body of the beer is medium-light, carbonation is medium, and the finish lingers for a moment.

This session IPA has a weak body, but decent hop flavors. The beer tastes watery and thin; moreover, it needs a better mouthfeel.

Poured from 12oz can into a dimpled mug.

Appearance: light golden hue with a little bit of haze, a strong effervescence, and a thick finger of frothy ivory foam atop. A good-lookin' beer.

Smell: slightly citrusy, slightly herbal hops atop a lightly toasty malt base. Not massively complex, but within the bounds of the session IPA style.

Taste: hops trend a bit more toward herbal than citrusy up front, and then develop a bit of fruitiness in the middle of the palate. An interesting beer; not rich, but definitely quaffable.

Mouthfeel: medium-light body with a big carbonation and pretty decent creaminess.

Overall: light and refreshing, and while not rich for an IPA, it's eminently drinkable.
