Pours a dark amber almost caramel color. Looks like apple cider. There's a bit of a pumpkin smell, but it's very muted. The taste, unfortunately, matches the muted smell. There is a pumpkin pie taste, as advertised, but it just lacks any kind of zing or punch. It just tastes thin and watery. I'm a big defender of the 4% Utah beer in most circumstances but this just doesn't cut it. I bought a 6-pack of this and it took me nearly 3 months to drink all of it - and to be honest I only finished it to write this review and free up space in my fridge.

This ale, if you can call it that, is thin and watery with almost no body and a very low ABV. The taste follows the nose, which is to say it both smells and tastes like a weak clove-flavored tonic or one of those all-natural sodas if it came in a clove flavor. On the plus side, it's not bitter at all and goes down like water.

Got in a trade with The-Adjunct-Hippie. 12 ounce nitro can into pint glass, best before 1/18/2018. Pours lightly hazy/cloudy medium orange/amber color with a 1 finger dense off white head with good retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Nice spotty soapy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of pumpkin, cinnamon, nutmeg, clove, brown sugar, gingerbread, light caramel, and herbal earthiness. Nice and pleasant aromas with good balance of pumpkin, spices, and bready malt notes; with solid strength. Taste of pumpkin, cinnamon, nutmeg, clove, brown sugar, gingerbread, light caramel, and herbal earthiness. Very mild herbal/spice bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of pumpkin, cinnamon, nutmeg, clove, brown sugar, gingerbread, light caramel, and herbal earthiness on the finish for a while. Good balance and solid robustness of pumpkin, spices, and bready malt flavors; with a good malt/bitter/spiciness balance, and no cloying sweetness after the finish. Minimal dryness. Light carbonation and light-medium body; with a very smooth, fairly creamy/bready/grainy, and slightly sticky mouthfeel that is okay. Very thin/watery feeling finish. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 4%. Overall this is a very solid session pumpkin ale. All around good balance and solid robustness of pumpkin, spices, and bready malt flavors; very smooth and easy to drink. Nice pumpkin fruit presence for the style, but underwhelming otherwise. A fairly enjoyable offering.

Looks thick, copper color which is orange when held to light.
Smells like cereal and spices with some pumpkin noticeable.
How did they get pumpkin pie in a cab like this? Tastes a little spicy, a little sweet, and just like pumpkin pie.
The nitro adds a creaminess which goes great with the flavor
Overall I must say I'm probably gonna buy a whole case next time

Copying this over from my review on the original Wasatch Pumpkin...

Wasatch has brought back their Pumpkin, but now it's canned and it's nitro carbed. You're supposed to pour it hard (like canned Guinness) to get the most of it. It's still the same beer, same middle of the road flavors, but the nitro does add a touch of creaminess to the mouthfeel. If you like the old bottles version, you'll like the new canned nitro version. For me it's a regular seasonal beer that I must have.

Can says to pour hard, so dat's what I's gonna do.

A beautiful burnt orange color with some ruby blushes in there, and a tight, creamy 1/2 finger of head. It disappears within a short time, leaving a ring of bubbly lace.

Aroma is spiced cookie, gingerbread, cinnamon, nutmeg, and pumpkin spice. Not really any authentic pumpkin, but more of a pumpkin cookie-like smell. Also, an uncanny resemblance to a hotel complimentary breakfast when the pool is nearby.

Flavor has a lot of lovely pumpkin spices going on - nutmeg and caramel dance together, with a slight pumpkin acidic bite, yielding to cinnamon, clove, and brown sugar towards the end. Finish is both nitro and pumpkin cookie.

Feel is creamy, as expected, but comes off a touch watery. The finish is slick, it's not dry, semi-dry, carbonated, or otherwise. It's not even oily. It's just this unique nitro slickness.

Overall, the first time I had their Pumpkin Ale I was hooked. I picked up some Nitro cans and had a couple ice cold - it wasn't doing it for me. I decided to crack it at about 60 degrees, and it really comes alive. So if you want to get the most out of this nitro beer, serve it at a little cooler than room temp (actually cellar temp is ideal). Otherwise the nitro flavors get a little out of hand and take over somewhat.
