Taster at Tap n Fill. Medium golden, spotty head. Light citrus aroma, grainy. Tadte is more of the oranges, pretty light, more peel than orange.. kind of weak.

this must be a totally revamped version of their old beer under the same name, lighter, crisper, and cleaner than i remember it being before, and now with some orange in it. its a clean and drinkable brew, perfect with brunch on a pretty robust hangover, this really brought me back to life. its yellow in the glass, fizzy enough from the can, but the head doesnt hang around very long. smells a little pils-esque on the pale barley side, and i get the crisp mineral profile as well, simple beer, but cleaner and better than the original i reckon. the orange is subtle, adds a touch of juicy freshness and the faintest sweet wrinkle to the center of this, but its tidy by the finish and seems to bring just a pop of bitterness too, relatively natural to me and very moderately dosed. the beer even has some hops to it at the end, not bad for a basic golden ale type. very drinkable, a solid morning beer, and something that i think represents a nice retooling of one of their less impressive brews. very clean and summery.

On tap. Poured a clear, golden color with a small, white head of foam. It smelled of toasted caramel and some orange notes. It tasted of artificial orange flavoring and some sweet caramel.

Slightly hazy golden/orange color with a half a finger of white head that quickly died out. Small bit of lacing on the glass.
Smells strongly of orange rinds. Also picking up a bit of breadiness and some slightly dank hops. The orange really tries to overpower all else in the smell.
The taste is very orange like the smell. The taste is kind of like an orange cereal. There is a bit of hops way in the back yet again like the smell the orange, and the cereal, on the taste kind of cover anything trying to poke through.
Mouth feel is not to heavy at all maybe leaning towards medium. Does have a bit of a chewy texture. Finish is fairly crisp and straight forward.
Overall for an orange beer this really hits that orange nail on the head. I kind of like the idea of drinking this super chilled on a hot summer day. It goes down smoothly, has a nice orange appeal (sorry) and would be quite refreshing.
