Dark, dark amber, almost cherry wood colored. Minimal foamy ostentatiousness but permissible for a low abc amber. A classic amber ale SOA is big on toasted bread crust with a little fruit in the nose. Bitter crusty finish. I can taste the organics. But not really.

Surprisingly dark colored for an amber ale. Dark and frankly more red than amber. Light brown colored head.
Smells sweet and malty. Mild NW style hops. Mildly woody and oakish scent.
Starts out mild and malty with a woody taste. Mild bitterness. but it isn't a strong beer. Decently tasty just don't expect a hop bomb.
Overall a decent beer, and quite good for an organic ale.

Dark amber in the glass. Some head at first but it fizzles to nothingness quite quickly and of course no lacing. A little spritz on the tongue.
I can't detect much aroma. There is a hint of grainy flavor. More woody, some cereal, some bitter earth. The barest hint of malty sweetness. A little beery with some hoppy bitterness, but not much in the way of aromatics. Finishes with a hint of yesterday's coffee grounds in the aftertaste.
On the whole this is barely average, even with the Utah low-alcohol handicap. Nothing really wrong with it, and it's drinkable for those who like a watered-down version of the earthy hop style. From the 12 oz bottle bought at Emigration Market in Salt Lake.

Beer #24 in my great Utah Brew Hunt.
This is a pretty nice amber. Nice consistent tones to it. Nothing really showy or overly ambitious, but it works. Especially for an organic ale, which for some reason usually come out not so well. But this is a pleasant ale. I can dig it.

This brew is not discontinued. I buy it at the grocery store in Utah all the time.
It's really good. It is indeed amber. Blast of hops at first taste then bready malt. Little bit a lacing. It has a great mouth feel, I think it being Organic really helps in this area. Slightly stingy carbonation, but not as bad a typical macro. I drink this one all the time as it is very drinkable, tasty , and satisfying.
