Also at the SLC Airport. It’s super attenuated which isn’t a bad thing. Touted as a German Pilsner, I’m rating it as so. Much more scrutinization. Lol. It’s good and light but not really as flavorful and robust in taste as a German Pilsner should taste. I’m spoiled by Notch what can I say.

Mostly clear and lightly sparkling golden yellow with a densely thick and *brilliant* white head that retains well and leaves doily lacing behind.
The wonderfully frothy medium body delivers mild white corn and a lightly floral hop in the semi-dry finish.

Pours a clear straw yellow, 1.5" head, light lacing. Nose is lemongrass, cracked wheat, straw, light hops. Flavor is that of a clean, crisp pilsner with some slightly sweeter yeast notes. Carbonation is small and full. A nice, refreshing pilsner.

a new pils for these guys, i like the name, makes me want to drink the style, replaces provo girl and seems like a new or at least updated recipe, certainly much more enjoyable in my experience. a minimal beer in a lot of ways, but thats kind of what i want in one of these, an excellent after exercise brew or summer refresher, true enough to style with some back end bittering hops, european grain character, and appreciable lager yeast in the taste, well balanced and clean, mineral rich and dry, very well carbonated as it needed to be with a name like this, and frankly a very serviceable offering. i like the crispness but that the yeast and grain contribute something more than nothing, its light as can be, but doesnt really seem dumbed down to me, which is a fine line to walk and i think they succeeded. a very nice companion to spicy and smoky chicken wings, ideal even, but just fine without a food context too. this was never going to compete in terms of quality with the best of the imports, or even the finest american made examples of the style, but it certainly comes in nicely in that next tier. enjoyable and clean, infinitely drinkable.
