Pours a hazy golden with an airy light white head
Strong strawberry nose, almost akin to a strawberry capri sun
Pretty light mouthfeel and slightly warm
Strawberry fruitiness, crisp grains and refreshing
Decent lacing down the glass. Great last of summer/warm weather beer

i was surprised by this, didnt expect to like it so much, didnt expect the strawberry to be so forward or so good, its a little sweet and jammy, but its also pretty real, not cheap or forced or diabetic like i kind of thought it would be, and while this is bold on the flavoring, its also pretty drinkable for this sort of thing. just a little twang to it, and slightly maltier maybe than a typical blonde, like this isnt overwhelmingly light and summery or anything, has some substance and some residual sugar, seemingly more from grain than from fruit, again unexpected, but its not heavy either. the flavor of the strawberry really owns this, a little lightly baked character to the malt behind it creating a sort of strawberry tart pastry vibe, like strawberry jelly on white toast maybe closer, but its very tasty, no denying. almost nothing from the hops or the yeast, but this doesnt get one dimensional, maybe that is the genius of the maltier base. in any event, the body is medium, the balance is there, its clean at the end to me, and although not in a style i am typically drawn to, i ended up liking this a lot. blonde ale meets strawberry daquiri. fun and well made for what it is.

Decent. Unfortunately drank out of a can, so looks will remain unrated for the most part. It was good. Easy to drink, but definitely something you’ll want to drink over a period of time. I like the strawberry element. It’s not a fake artificial strawberry, it tastes like a real fresh one, just enough sour and just enough sweet. Nothing overpowering, just wasn’t my cup of tea (or can of beer I guess). Overall not a bad beer.
