25oz bottle courtesy of Wasatch - thanks John! Poured into a Portsmouth 20th anniversary stemmed glass.
A - Pours a gleaming clear golden color with just a faint hint of amber. Steady streams of carbonation bubbles rise thru the body of the liquid into a finger of fluffy white head with good staying power. Rings of lace are left on the glass from top to bottom as the beer disappears.
S - Aroma is full of great grainy smells - biscuity, bready, a bit buttery, cereal grains. Hops are distinctly noble varieties with a smooth bitterness and the distinct spiciness. Clean and crisp.
T - Grainy up front...similar to aroma - bready and grainy malt with a very minor touch of sweetness. Hops are crisp and clean with a medium level, but delicate and refined bitterness.
M - Body is a lightish medium. Carbonation is medium/high and active and tingly on the tongue. Soft malt and clean hop bitterness. Well balanced - goes down very easily.
O - Good, smooth and easy drinking Helles. A good American example of the style - not quite up to the level of the best German examples, but solid and very enjoyable.

25oz. Bomber
Pours a very nice clean/clear golden dark yellow color, very nice carbonation, with a nice one-finger white fizzy head, with some very minimal sticky lacing left behind. The nose is sweet, malty, with a slight citrus note. The taste is malty, sweet, slightly citrusy. Medium body, with a clean/crisp finish. Overall this one is tasting pretty good on a hot day.
