Appearance - Deep ruby. Small white collar.
Smell - Buckets of red wine. That's just about it.
Taste - Much better. Red wine. Lots of red wine. Bready malts. Mild hop bitterness. Sharp oak finish with a lingering vanilla flavor.
Mouthfeel - Light body. Sharp wine flavor.
Overall - Intense for a 4.1% beer. Lots of wine. Good beer, though.
