Poured into a 14oz snifter with 2 fingers worth of frothy head that slowly dissipates into a foamy lacing. Extremely clear pale straw color with just a touch of chill haze. Smell is faintly sweet with hints of bitter wildflower, hay and grass. Refreshing and quite light, but without any distinguishable Belgian characteristics. No identifiable hop character, maybe slightly cat-pissy in the aroma. Mouthfeel is thin and overall is one note and lacks nuance. The finish is bone dry, bordering on astringent. If you hate malt and want the driest beer on tap, this is for you.
