On tap at Le Trou Du Diable booth at Mondial, 2010. Ruby colored with minimal head. Aroma of molasses and/or brown sugar. Taste is sweet and includes dark, pitted fruits, specifically dark cherries. Cherry noted even further upon warming. Nice flavor addition and great idea. Nice flavor profile, easy to drink considering the high abv. Even the ladies should love this one.

On tap at St. Bock. Great looking beer: opaque and a nice dark brown in colour with a blanket of cream-coloured head.

Not much smell coming off this one. A little chocolate malt and some black cherry.

Tons of cherry flavour, reminiscent of Cherry Blasters but not nearly as artificial. A hint of chocolaty malt. A little bitter on the finish. The ABV is hidden very well.

Nice feel. Medium body with a light carbonation. Very smooth.

For a 9% cherry scotch ale, this is unbelievably drinkable. I don't remember ever having tried a better fruit flavoured beer. I'm not generally a fan of fruity beers but this is definitely a success in my opinion. I would have no problem with drinking a pint of this and would be happy to run into it again sometime.
