On-tap at Wvrst
Beer is black with a good-sized tan head. Good retention and lacing.
Roasted malt and caramel in the nose, as well as a bit of toffee.
Flavour contains roasted malt, and seems fairly creamy. A touch of bitterness and coffee. Caramel. Pretty straight forward porter flavour. The aftertaste, unfortunately, has a bit of an off flavour, and is bitter in a way that is not flavourful.
Medium bodied, strongly carbonated. Too bubbly.
Overall, pretty good, but nothing to search for.

Initially, a lot of flavour from the complex malt and roastiness. WVRST tap takeover. Black colour, some lace. An edge, more like a Baltic porter. Above average for a British porter. After it warms up to the room, it behaved more like a British porter
