On-tap at Wvrst.
Beer is translucent brown in colour, with a large beige head. Decent retention.
Nose is a bit faint. Contains some sweet malts and bread. A bit of dark fruit.
Taste is malt focused. Sweet and bready. Caramel. The body is fairly thin but with a comparatively rich flavour. A bit of banana, dark fruit. Lager yeast flavour.
Medium bodied and bready. Moderately carbonated.
Overall, pretty good. I am not a huge doppelbock fan, but thought this was a pretty decent take on the style.

Tap: Poured a clear copper color bock with light brown foamy head. Aroma consists of caramel malt with light chocolate notes. Taste is also dominated by caramel malt with light bitter chocolate notes with light grainy notes. Body is about average with good carbonation. Not the most complex beer with pretty straightforward flavours and some good attenuation.

Light chocolate brown coloured body. True to the style. Roasted malt. A tad of spice to make it interesting, and give it a fuller mouthfeel in the finish, once it warms. Decent drinkability. Chocolate malt aroma.Tap Takeover at WVRST. One of the better ones.
