Sampled from a 600ml bottle. Yellow / orangish and cloudy liquid with a large white foam at the service. Which decreases and only leaves a ring, several geysers of bubbles above the liquid.
A spicy and fruity nose; coriander, peaches notes and lactic acid are noticeable.
Really pleasant taste of lactic acid, fruity notes of lemon and citrus. Superb, spicy, refreshing, perfect summer beer for 6$ (CAN) per 600ml. Good value for money.

Bottle: Poured a bright pale golden color ale with a fizzy white head with limited retention. Aroma of sour and tart notes is somewhat one-dimensional. Taste is also a one-dimensional mix of tart and sour notes with some subtle wheat malt notes. Body is about average with good carbonation. Lacking complexity and depth with OK drinkability.

Notes: (It may be that this beer has been made with different fruits, I'm not sure, but what I had was clearly labeled as Passion fruit). Very hazy, almost cloudy - 1/2 way between a wit and a weizen - golden body beneath a short head of bright white. The head is short-lived and leaves only spotty and streaky lace behind. Smell of citrus rind, pith, a kind of mango and orange mixed fruitiness, wheaty malt, and the suggestion of tartness or acidity. That tartness does appear in the flavor, along with more fruitiness although I'm not sure I can pinpoint specific fruits to describe it - I'm not even sure that orange-mango really does either but it's definitely on the tropical and citrusy side. A very moderate bitterness is all that's needed to bring it to a dry, mineralish finish. Light bodied and gently effervescent. Easy to drink, and at the same time fairly interesting.

Lightning round: It's a witbier with peaches. The peaches do add a pleasant note to the beer, both in the aroma and the taste, though the peach taste is sweeter than it is sour. If anything, the witbier base has been soured some and used as a canvas for the sweet fruity peaches to cling onto. For a "lighter" sour ale, La Oude Blanche should be a good choice.

Advertised as a cross between a sour ale and a witbier. Unfortunately, it fails on both counts.
Body is the look and color of pulpy lemonade. Bit of tartness and some spices but neither rise up to the challenge. The result is an ordinary and muted ale from a brewery that we can rightly expect much more. Disappointing.
